The Planning, Design & Construction division supports the physical development of the University of Florida through planning, design, and construction services. From managing major capital projects to preserving historic buildings, our work is grounded in integrity, service, and long-term stewardship of campus facilities.

The Preconstruction & Project Development Team serves as the foundation for successful capital planning and project delivery at the University of Florida. Through comprehensive preconstruction services, cost estimating, project and program development, and feasibility studies, the team helps the University transform ideas into actionable capital projects.

The Office of the University Architect (OUA) guides the planning, design, and development of the University of Florida’s physical campus. Through design oversight, standards management, and collaboration with campus partners, the office helps ensure that projects support the university’s mission while preserving the character, quality, and long-term vision of the campus environment.

From day-to-day renovations to major capital projects, our Construction Project Management team oversees the design, construction, and delivery of UF’s campus facilities. With deep experience across engineering, planning, and operations, this group ensures each project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and long-term value for the university community.
